How the solar pilot works
A rooftop or utility array loses energy four ways at once: light reflecting off the glass, dust settling on it, heat de-rating the cell, and a spectrum the silicon was never able to use. Cleaning services address one of those. Replacing the panel addresses none of them cheaply. SPAL is a single film that works on all four, applied to hardware that is already installed and already earning.
- We coat a defined set of your panels and leave matched panels uncoated as controls, on the same site, same orientation, same soiling.
- Both sets are measured over the pilot window — I–V curves for output, thermal imaging for operating temperature, yield decay for soiling behaviour.
