NanoHarvestX started from a straightforward observation: the world keeps installing energy infrastructure, and almost none of it performs as well as the physics allows. A solar panel is bought once and then quietly underperforms for twenty-five years. A satellite is designed around a power budget that its own surfaces are wasting.
We build the material layer that sits above that infrastructure. Not a replacement for it — an upgrade to what is already there, and to what is already qualified. That constraint shapes everything: it is why SPAL is a retrofit film rather than a new panel, and why the orbital variant is fully inorganic rather than the easier organic chemistry.
The company is anchored at IISc CeNSE in Bengaluru, India's foremost nanofabrication facility, with our scientific work led by faculty there. That proximity is deliberate. Materials claims are only worth what an independent measurement says they are, and we would rather be built beside the instrument that settles it.
Every performance figure on this site is labelled as a target until an independent measurement replaces it. We would rather be slow and correct than quotable and wrong.
Infrastructure that already works is the hardest thing to displace and the easiest thing to improve. We build for adoption, not for replacement.
